Photography exhibition by Christopher Doyle:Three, not four

Christopher Doyle is one of the most important cinematographers in the world.

The retrospective photography exhibition Three, not four will present this great artist as a photographer. The photographs that will be on display were taken during the breaks on the sets of the films Doyle worked on.

The exhibition will primarily present the photographs associated to the films included in the retrospective program of Doyle’s films on the One Take Film Festival.

As a part of the exhibition, you will also see one take films by Christopher Doyle. This experimental works, although enriched with Doyle's unique style, present something completely different then the long-feature films he shot.

The exhibition will take place between 16th and 29th of November in Gallery IV of Gliptoteka, Medvedgradska 2, in Zagreb.

If it is true that omnibuses are often directed by great film directors, how come there are so few omnibuses that became classics?

Are they more often the realization of producers' or directors' ideas? Have they ever been in the focus of attention or are they eternally on the fringes of the film art?
